The Soggy Loaf menu is my response to the menu assignment in my ARTS222 class. The prompt was simple, create a small menu utilizing illustrator to embody the food items within. I went with an outlandish theme revolving around a glorified alcatraz menu, offering a variety of breads to be mixed with a selection of waters. I made sure to keep the content within the menu simple overall to reflect the simplicity of bread and water, with a solid background with splashed highlights around the text, and subtle outlines of bread slices in the background. The slanting of the text draws your eyes down the menu in the order you should be reading it in, finalizing on the price in the bottom lefthand corner. The leaky font represents the menu it accompanies, and the colors reflect the menus contents in a stylistic way.
